Home Staging Earnings Calculator

Curious what a home staging career could actually pay? Choose your state and the schedule you plan to work, and see a realistic estimate of your annual, monthly and per-project income.

How to use the earnings calculator

Begin by selecting your state, since local cost of living and demand have a real effect on what stagers can charge, and the estimate is tuned to where you actually work. Then choose the schedule you plan to keep, whether that is part-time on the side, full-time on your own, or full-time while running a small team.

With those two choices made, the calculator shows your earning potential as an annual revenue range, along with your likely monthly income, your average revenue per project, and a typical number of projects per month, so you can picture the workload behind the numbers.

Here's an example...

Picture a full-time solo stager working in Texas and taking on about 4 projects a month. The calculator estimates annual revenue of roughly $54,000 to $108,000, which works out to around $6,750 a month and close to $1,688 per project before expenses and taxes. Move the same stager to a higher-cost state and that range climbs noticeably, which is exactly why the tool adjusts for location.
